A cuisine shaped by the land

The kitchen at Podere Conti Restaurant is led by Giulio Bellano, agri-chef with a solid professional background and a deep connection to Lunigiana.

Originally from Zeri, Giulio developed his experience working in high-level hotel and restaurant environments in Italy and abroad, gaining method, discipline, and a broad understanding of hospitality.

After international experience, his path led him back to a focus on territory and agricultural production. After years in professional kitchens, he chose to dedicate himself also to farming, founding and running an agricultural enterprise in Liguria. This step defined his current approach: a cuisine grounded in direct knowledge of ingredients and their natural cycles.

Since 2021, Giulio has been the agri-chef at Podere Conti, where he integrates culinary and agricultural expertise in a concrete, day-to-day way, contributing to a gastronomic offering fully aligned with the place and the long-term vision of the estate.

His cooking is conceived to be shared and accessible, speaking both to those who choose Podere Conti as a place to stay and to those who visit the restaurant as a gastronomic destination, always maintaining balance, restraint, and depth.
