Join our Sustainable Farming Community with WWOOF

For this reason, Podere Conti is a registered member of the Italian WWOOF association (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms), a worldwide movement which links visitors (WWOOFers) with organic farmers for cultural and educational exchange.

As a WWOOF host we offer free room and board in exchange for farm volunteers to participate in the daily life of our farm. If you’re interested in experiencing a new culture and meeting new people, while learning about sustainability and helping us with our animals, we invite you to join our sustainable farming community.

To become a WWOOFer at Podere Conti, simply check out our profile and hosting schedule and register with WWOOF Italia

We welcome WWOOFers from all over the world to come and participate in daily farm life, and discover the benefits of sustainable living, on our beautiful organic farm in Tuscany.

At Podere Conti we are committed to building a global community conscious of ecological farming and sustainability practices and love sharing our knowledge with others.

For the last 20 years, we have been dedicated to preserving the land and promoting sustainable living through our organic farming practices.

Our commitment to sustainable and organic agricultural practices

At Podere Conti, we believe that food should not only nourish our bodies, but also be good for the earth. That's why we use only the most natural and eco-friendly farming methods, free of harmful chemicals and pesticides. Our crops are grown in nutrient-rich soil, using organic fertilisers and natural pest control methods. This not only ensures that our produce is of the highest quality, but also protects the health of our land and the surrounding ecosystem.

Having recuperated an abandoned olive grove saving some 400 old trees, we have also planted over 1,500 new olive trees in the last 20 years. We use traditional olive harvesting methods to produce an organically certified extra virgin olive oil from mainly Leccino and Frantoio trees, which provides a flavourful oil with low acidity. We use our olive oil in the restaurant, and a limited quantity is available to buy at Podere Conti.
