Welcome to Podere Conti…
as a certified organic farm, we aim to practice sustainable self sufficiency where possible with a zero KM and zero waste philosophy.
We actively encourage our guests to contribute to this way of life and reduce our impact on nature and the environment.
Feel free to join in any gardening or agricultural activities (season depending), from watering or weeding plants near your room or in the vegetable garden to foraging for nuts and fruits or using some of our abundant herbs for your cooking.
Many of our services are determined by our Environmental Statement which also includes other ways in which you can help.

In your room you will find:
A Welcome Basket with treats for you to use or take away (please leave empty containers for recycling).
Bottled Water from our filter machine – feel free to refill for free at the restaurant during service times.
Complimentary Tea/Coffee – which cleaning staff will replenish daily.
Complimentary Hand Sanitizer, Soap, Shampoo & Candles which cleaning staff will replenish when necessary.
Towels for both bath and swimming pool use (to be used exclusively on the property). Please leave any dirty towels you wish to change in your bath tub for the cleaning staff to find.
Heating controls please do not change the settings on the heating controls as they have been automatically set and you may risk turning off your heating when required!
Internet in the rooms is by ethernet cable only.

Please take into consideration that we are providing you with free internet access in a remote area which is constrained to a maximum bandwidth and we therefore ask you to refrain from streaming or downloading video which may affect connectivity for other guests.Please ask staff for ethernet cable if required

Late check-out (after 10:00 but before 15:00) carries a fee of 50% of daily room rate (subject to room availability)
Rooms and apartments will be checked every day for rubbish collection, replenishing consumables and bed making.
Guests are encouraged to use our recycling bins (on the back of the restaurant or in the car park garden) for paper, plastic, glass and compost waste.
Diapers or nappies must be disposed of in purple rubbish bags (to be found in the drawer under TV or ask staff if you cannot find in your room) and left in the bin marked “Pannolini” in the car park.
Please see our rubbish infogram mounted on the wall in your room for how to differentiate rubbish.
Room cleaning service is bi weekly including changing bed linen and towels or upon request in case of accident. Please leave dirty towels that require changing in the bath tub.
Daily room service can be arranged for an additional cost of €20/day for rooms or €30/day for apartments.

In order to comply with current anti-contagion legislation to ensure safe social distancing, our restaurant will operate on a strictly prior booking only basis, including for breakfast which can no longer be offered on a buffet service basis.
We are also offering room service for our staying guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner during the normal restaurant times and of the same menus.
For guests who had already booked rooms including breakfast, please specify which breakfast you would like at check-in.

In addition, our zero-waste policy benefits from advance knowledge of how many to cater for and we therefore ask, when possible, to advise us of your restaurant requirements, especially outside of high season (when a fixed menu may be offered as an alternative), including any special dietary requirements (allergies or food intolerances).

Use of the swimming pool is limited to guests of Podere Conti at the Management’s discretion. You can use your room towels at the swimming pool (not to be taken off the property) which you are kindly asked to return to your room after use. Please leave dirty towels in the bath tub for cleaning staff to change when required.
The swimming pool and its surrounding area are subject to stringent health and safety regulations for which we urge you to respect the following rules:
Sun loungers have been positioned to ensure safe social distancing between families and will be disinfected every morning so please do not move. Please select and retain your sun loungers for the day by placing a towel on them thereby indicating to other guests that they are taken. Any towels found on sun loungers at the end of the day will be removed for washing.
Children must at all times be accompanied by adult – there is no life guard present
Food and beverages, including glass and ceramic items are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in the pool area
No running, jumping, diving or use of inflatables in or around the pool area
Upon request Laundry service is available at additional cost of € 25 per machine/load.
The price includes: washing powder & softener and return of clothes to your room (ironing excluded) within 24 hours.
Please leave your bag of laundry in the bathtub for cleaning staff to take away.
Podere Conti welcomes pets at no extra charge but bearing in mind that you are visiting a health and safety regulated working farm, we ask owners to observe the following courtesies:
Pets must not be aggressive and should be accompanied by their owners at all times (where necessary kept on a leash). Pets are not allowed in the swimming pool area nor in the restaurant without a being on a leash.
Pet owners are automatically financially responsible for any damage caused by their pet(s) and any expenses incurred by Podere Conti for pet disturbances.
If required, owners should provide proof of current vaccinations.
Owners are asked to clean pet waste immediately.
Parking is available in the field above the restaurant. Guests are welcome to drive their cars nearer their rooms for loading or unloading but requested to move them back to the car park unless the model of car prohibits access thereto. Car owners park at their own risk and Podere Conti takes no responsibility for any damage to or theft of/from cars parked on the premises.

Should you want to reward our staff for their service, please be advised that Podere Conti operates a strict staff tips sharing policy. You can find a tip box in the restaurant and all staff will share their tips equally to encourage best team collaboration.
We are always looking for ways to improve our guests’ stay both at the Podere or when exploring the local area.
One of the joys of travel is heading off into the unknown and finding little treasures that might be useful for future guests.
