Ever wondered how to find truffles? 

In Lunigiana, you can find the following truffles, weather conditions permitting: 

 

ALBIDUM PICO : January - April

Truffle Hunting Excursions

2 hour excursion - 95 euros per person

​

4 hour excursion - 190 euro per person

​

8 hour excursion- 350 euro per person

Simone is a certified environmental guide (G.A.E. - GUIDA AMBIENTALE ESCURSIONISTICA) who, together with his dogs: Tito, Kira and Astor, has been scouring our mountains for the last 10 years for natures most sought after "funky funghi". 

NOTE

Prices do not include transport to or from the designated meeting point

 

DON'T FORGET

The excursion is considered an easy type (T), and participants are requested to have the following appropriate equipment: 

  • trekking shoes with good gripping soles and a rucksack containing: 

  • at least a liter of water and a snack 

  • a raincoat 

  • sun hat 

  • In case of rain, it is necessary to have a complete dry change in the car 

  • In case of negative temperatures it is necessary to have a wool hat and gloves 

 

OUR TIPS

  • Guests are not required to purchase any truffles found during the tour 

  • Minors will be able to participate in the excursion provided they are 8 years old and accompanied by a parent 

  • Children under the age of 12 will not pay for the excursion 

  • The excursion, although simple, is not equipped for people with disabilities 

  • Only the truffle dogs are allowed on the excursion
