RELEASE - REPLENISH - REJOICE
Come and join Jaya and Marc for five fun-filled days of rejuvenating and energising yoga and delicious 'Healy Mealies' in sublime surroundings.
This promises to be joyful, expansive, enriching and magical.
We’ll be taking our inspiration from nature:
It’s soon after the harvest moon... a time to reap what you sow.
The seasons are changing from autumn to winter.
The landscape changes colour and trees start to shed their leaves.
Everything withdraws and turns inwards in readiness for the cold spell ahead.
Follow nature and drop those ‘leaves’. Release those negative patterns and behaviours… those that no longer serve you.
Get nourished and nurtured… reconnect with yourself and your community… a total top-up for mind, body and soul.
Celebrate life (both the good and the bad)… and express gratitude for everything that comes our way.
Partners in business, as well as 'life', Jaya and Marc are the founders of Om&Nom.
Om&Nom offers the very best in healthy yoga retreats in the UK and abroad and was born from a desire to help others realise their full potential; to nurture and inspire them to lead a fuller, healthier and happier life.
These breaks provide healing, relaxation, rejuvenation and enrichment.
is an exceptional teacher with over 15 years teaching experience. First stepping onto a yoga mat back in 1995, she feels extremely blessed and grateful to have received guidance and wisdom from great teachers throughout her yoga life. Her style of yoga teaching combines the integrity and precision of alignment from Iyengar techniques with movement and breath awareness of vinyasa. She encourages self enquiry and self discovery in a safe and joyful way. Her techniques suit students of every ability and she’s very ‘hands on’, often making adjustments and corrections to your positions.
formerly ran his own graphic design and photography business (as well as a catering business as a sideline). A few years ago, he gave up all of his design clients to feed his passion for all things food-related.
Nowadays, he focuses on creating his Healy Mealies: clean, vibrant, wholeheartedly wholesome, soul-nourishing and utterly scrumptious food. All mindfully prepared and imbued with love and healing energy. It’s all plant-based: vegetarian and vegan, both cooked and raw, designed to make you feel lighter and brighter. The perfect complement to your yoga practice.

"The retreat was brilliantly organised, and Jaya created an inclusive and sociable atmosphere, while also giving people the space to spend time on their own if they wanted. While there were lots of activities at our disposal, everything was completely voluntary and there was never a sense of unwanted obligation.
I loved the yoga, but even more I loved the time spent truly relaxing and exploring my emotional life in the calm and safe environment that you helped to create. The yoga itself was even better than I had hoped - amazingly it was appropriate for complete beginners as well as more advanced practitioners, and Jaya differentiated the postures based on people's experience. She was excellent at responding to injuries or any individual's particular physical requirements. You really got a sense that she was taking care of your individual practice, as well as being part of a shared experience. I have a reasonably regular practice after several years of yoga, but Jaya gave new insights and tips as well as correcting bad habits, so it was a real learning experience. She also has the kind of really deep understanding of both the physical and spiritual sides of yoga, borne of years of real dedication and training, that these days are really hard to find amongst yogis of the instagram generation. She's the real deal.
If you're looking for a yoga teacher with sensitivity, generosity of spirit, amazing knowledge and experience, as well as someone who you'll laugh with over dinner, then this is the one for you!"

“I joined Jaya and Marc for a weekend retreat looking to restore some physical wellbeing and nurture my inner space. Together they created a welcoming, supportive and encouraging atmosphere in which to let go, ground and recharge; Jaya is a wonderfully warm teacher who read the group brilliantly tailoring the experience to suit, and Marc an ebullient and charismatic chef delivering delicious food, the perfect fuel to energise us all weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the hands of these two lovely people, they’re a wonderful team.”

"Because of the intention in his food preparation Marc's cooking has that alchemical 'other' ingredient,… which is 'delight', and there's nothing like the flavour of delight to infuse a gathering with joy!."

"Both Jaya and Marc were wonderful hosts creating an atmosphere that was welcoming, fun, safe and freeing. Jaya’s teaching was superb - there was a good balanced mix of yogic practices and encouragement to explorer. Marc’s food was exceptional. That he managed single-handedly was amazing. He was also a warm and encouraging presence. As a team, I would recommend them highly."

'My Sister and I spent a wonderful weekend at Poundon House with Jaya and Marc during the weekend of March 9th-11th. Jaya excelled herself with a thoughtfully planned and well balanced (pardon the pun) yoga schedule with flowing yoga sessions in the morning and restorative stretches and yoga nidra in the afternoon. The group honoured her request for silence until breakfast despite being a chatty and interactive group at all other times. Marc spoiled us with some of the most exquisite delicacies that I have ever tasted. His vegetarian menu was both filling, nourishing and more-ish. The dairy and gluten free chocolate ganache tart was out of this world.... Together they were both charming and considerate hosts for what was a fabulous relaxing weekend. Great team work in action!’

“Jaya is on a personal journey of realisation. She shares her extensive knowledge of yoga practice within a framework that encourages a deeper mental and spiritual adventure… What was most remarkable, was to notice the real transformation within all of us over the week. Not just the physical changes which were obvious in everyone’s posture and energy, but even more so the sense of happiness and acceptance that everyone seemed to have developed of themselves… This was a masterful program of learning and self discovery as well as a magical yoga retreat.”
