Tuscany is marvellous as is this country hotel
Tuscany is marvellous as is this country hotel, a really excellent combination! Really recommended for those who want to spend a weekend relaxing.
An Amazing Hotel in an incredible location!
My boyfriend and I spent a wonderful week at Podere Conti. Cornelia and her family were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The hotel is located in an incredible location in the Tuscan hills with panoramic views from the rooms and restaurant. The terrace restaurant is delightful – the food is rustic and authentic and the candlelit atmosphere is unbeatable! The hotel rooms are spacious and well furnished. The only slight downside for us was that the rooms are rather warm at night in high summer and there was no air conditioning. The farm represents an excellent quality / price ratio accounting overall for money and an ideal place to relax and unwind..
Beautiful place, great food perfect romantic spot
This place is run by an English women, whom is married to an Italian. She has created an absolutely delightful place to stay and also runs a fabulous restaurant. I highly recommend this place as a great place to escape to for a few days.
A weekend of relaxation and well-being
The purpose of our stay was to give us two days of relaxation, hoping to get away from the heat of the city, and find calm and good food. And this is all that we have found. The owner, Cornelia, welcomed us with a family do, and friendly crew.
The structure we especially liked, not only for its panoramic position overlooking the surrounding hills which provides a pleasant coolness in the evening, but also for the unique décor of the Moroccan inspired rooms. The pool is definitely an added benefit: the beds are real mattresses with cushions, comfortable and beautiful to behold.
The evening you can admire a starry sky from there without the interference of light pollution that characterises our city.
Finally, a few words on food: we tasted great appetisers with vegetables, cakes and savoury meats, fine pasta (ravioli and potato ravioli with walnut sauce), tender grilled meat.
In short, overall I’d say very positive!
Highly recommended for a romantic getaway or for families with children, young or older.
